About LIMUN
Since 1985, LAMP students and faculty have tirelessly endeavored to provide delegations across the state the best Model United Nations experience. LIMUN is one of the few remaining high school student-led Model UN conferences. It is also a memorable traditional experience hosted at LAMP and is vital to our school culture.
Our Mission
From the beginning, our mission has been to provide students an environment where they can freely voice their opinions and undergo an expansion of their worldview. As delegates engage in debate, they are exposed to a multitude of new perspectives and witness their understanding of the wider world deepen. In an increasingly globalized world where everyone and everything is interconnected and interdependent on each other, awareness of what is going on around the globe is becoming evermore crucial. As years go by, our commitment will not change: facilitating the growth of transnational awareness through debate.
