A Letter From Bhakti

Hey everyone!

My name is Bhakti Patel, and I am grateful to serve as your chair for the World Health Organization (WHO) committee. I am super excited for everyone to experience MUN in committee. 

WHO is a United Nations specialized agency responsible for finding solutions to all things health. WHO promotes healthier and safer living and leads global efforts to expand efforts for universal healthcare. In committee, we will discuss issues that are arising today and how to approach them collectively. 

Now, a little bit about me, I am a junior at LAMP and have been involved with MUN for 2 years, this being my third year. I am a vegetarian (no, I do not eat grass), and my favorite food of all time is pizza. I am a math person…grammar is my worst enemy. My favorite show of all time is Gossip Girl because it is so different every episode, but also connected at the same time. I participate in Speech and Debate at LAMP, and for my events, I primarily compete in debate, specifically with LD (Lincoln-Douglas) and Congress.
