Hello delegates!
My name is Evelyn Medina and I’m excited to be your JCC-Crisis Control: New York Mafia vs. FBI chair this year at LIMUN XXXIX!
Crisis Control is a unique committee that creates impromptu scenarios and problems for the Crisis Committees to solve. While it is a more informal committee, it still allows for delegates to debate and use their creativity to create different scenarios. I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
A little more about myself:
I am a junior so this will be my first time chairing and I’m so excited to see where our committee will go!
I love baking so I sometimes prepare treats for my friend. (Let me know and I can bake it!)
I can play the guitar more specifically the acoustic guitar.
Finally, I love reading books and my favorites are classics so think Scarlet Letter and Great Gatsby.
One last note: Remember that your participation is what will make this committee truly fun and engaging. I know many of you do not like public speaking–trust me I get it–but coming prepared and ready to work will make a big difference! LIMUN is a great experience and if you give it your all, it will be an amazing experience. I look forward to seeing all of you!
Sincerely,
Evelyn Medina
