A Letter From Jerry

Hey Delegates!

My name is Jerry Chen, and I am extremely excited to be chairing the Special Political and Decolonization (SPECPOL) Committee this year. SPECPOL discusses issues over modern-day colonialism and global peacekeeping issues.

A little information about me: 

• I was named after Jerry from Tom and Jerry.

• I love to eat good food, especially Cantonese cuisine.

• I love playing the clarinet (I’ve played it for 6-7 years now).

• In my peak, I could solve a 7x7 Rubik’s cube.

• The most pizza I have ever eaten in one go is 15 slices at Cicis.

• My gaming username is Lil Dumpling because I love dumplings.

Did I mention that I love food?

Anyways, don’t feel the need to restrict your arguments in this committee, but please try to always keep an open mind and take care not to be offensive when discussing these topics. Nuclear war is possible over these territorial disputes, so feel free to have fun with it!
