A Letter From Kangmin

Hello delegates!

My name is Kangmin Park, and I’m excited to be serving as your chair for the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS)! I’m currently a junior and I’ve done MUN for the past 2 years now.

A little about myself: I am on the LAMP tennis team and I do Scholar’s Bowl on the varsity team. I also play the cello (best string instrument no questions asked); my favorite cello concerto is Edouard Lalo’s Concerto in D Minor.

Although space may be a frontier for endless possibilities, peace must be maintained, so don't get too wild. Collaboration will be necessary so fistfights, nukes, and Deathstars won’t be necessary for this committee. COPUOS can definitely be a fun experience (if everyone participates), but it won’t be a walk in the Park (pun intended)!

With my goal to make this the best year of COPUOS for LIMUN XXXIX, I hope that you will help me in achieving it. I look forward to seeing the debates and solutions that all of you come up with this year.
