A Letter From Maryam

Hello delegates! 

My name is Maryam Khan, and I am so excited to be serving as your chair this year for the special committee: The Unseen Agenda! I am a Junior here at LAMP and have helped out with MUN for the last 2 years.

Essentially, think of this committee as being something Mythbusters-esque, kind of like an AP Conspiracy Theory class. Delegates will be assigned certain characters or figures that align with the themes of the theories we discuss (ex: Politician, Flat Earther, Secret Agent, etc.) and get the opportunity to roleplay as them while defending their arguments.

Now, here’s a little bit more about me:

• Mayonnaise is the best condiment to ever exist. (I will debate you on this, and I will win.)

• Choco-covered pretzels, good coffee, & icecream>>>

• My favorite football team is the Eagles (been a fan since 3rd grade).

• I love binging TV shows and Little Women (2019) is my favorite movie to date.
