A Letter From Namita

Welcome delegates! 

My name is Namita Pradeep, and I am honored to be your chair for the UN Environmental Programme this year. Although this is my first year on the LIMUN Secretariat, I’m looking forward to making this a wonderful conference and an exciting experience for you all!

Fun facts about me: 

• I love reading fiction and writing short stories in my free time

• Playlists of any music genre have my heart

• Computer Science and Art are great passions of mine

• I’m the VP of Mu Alpha Theta and Proconsul of the Alabama Junior Classical League

In the UN Environmental Programme, we will explore ways to develop sustainable solutions regarding the many climate crises on a global scale as climate change becomes more prevalent year by year. While this is a beginner committee, see this as a learning opportunity and don’t be afraid to showcase your ideas! I highly encourage everyone to do in-depth research, collaborate with others and contribute to discussions. As your chair, I look forward to hearing your proposed ideas and perspectives in a critical, intuitive manner. Wishing you the best, delegates!
