A Letter From Sriyansh

Hello Delegates!

My name is Sriyansh Vangara, and I am a senior at LAMP this year. I am honored to chair the specialized committee: Theranos at the XXXIX LIMUN Conference. Together, we (I mean everyone; don't be shy, freshmen) will learn new things, become better at articulating responsible rhetoric, and, most of all, have fun discussing ethics and scandals. Essentially, think of this being a discussion about Wirecard, kind of like an AP Corporate Scandal class. 

Also, let me tell you a little about myself! My favorite show is The Rookie, and my favorite pastime is robotics. I want to major in aerospace engineering. I like dark chocolate that's more bitter than sweet, but not too bitter. Lastly, my favorite subject is math!

Let me set a couple of rules for this year's special committee:

• Keep everything school-appropriate

• You are expected to have a mostly productive dialogue

• Keep your electronic usage to a minimum and only use it for research purposes

• Step out of your comfort zone.

• Your position paper should be done before the session begins

I hope you guys have another great LIMUN experience. And, freshmen, I know this is your first LIMUN experience, so remember that it's going to be fun only if you participate!!!
